Depeche Mode - Pimpf (Orchestra Version)

Hi! It’s Depeche Mode time again! This year was (and still is) crazy and I’ve been not in the best mood and yet DM has always been my source of inspiration and strength in my daily task of dealing with the Void... “Pimpf“ is an instrumental song recorded by Depeche Mode during the production of the 1987 album Music For The Masses. It was released as a B-side on the “Strangelove“ single on 13 April 1987. Pimpf is also a German nickname for a boy before his voice changes. It is a colloquial word from Upper German meaning “boy“, “little rascal“, “scamp“, or “rapscallion“ (originally “little gas-bubble“, as opposed to a “Pumpf“, the adult variant) I’ve used here the new awesome plugin from Native Instruments “Mysteria“ Also a huge shout-out to the creators of the steamrollerapp for allowing me to isolate this awesome male choir part from the original song! RIP Andrew Fletcher
