Scottish F.A. Cup 7th Round (1955)

Edinburgh, Scotland. Start of the 7th round Scottish Cup football match between Heart of Midlothian and Aberdeen. LV. Heart of Midlothian (Hearts) in dark shirts kick-off, Aberdeen collect the ball and move up field. LV. Crowd. SV. Leggatt taking a quick throw in. Buckley outpaces Glidden, cleverly brings ball under control, shoots and Duff, the Hearts’ goalkeeper, makes a wonderful save. He picks himself up and tries to prevent the ball going for a corner. SV. Duff scrambling for the ball but it goes behind a corner. LV. Leggatt taking a corner, ball dances around the Hearts’ goal mouth, it goes to Allister. Allister, well outside the penalty area, heads towards goal, Duff leaps but ball enters net. SV. Aberdeen players congratulating. SV. Crowd applauding. SV. Duff again in action as he lifts a centre from Leggatt’s head and clears up field. SV. Hearts trying to get through a strong Aberdeen defence. SV.
