Rally Becomes Riot Aka Fight At Mendes-France Rally (1957)

FIGHT AT MENDES-FRANCE RALLY Paris, France. GV. People seated and gathered at the meeting at the Palais des Sports of the Mendes-France Republican Front. LV. Platform, bomb has exploded on it and smoke is going up into the air and there are flames round the bomb. GV. Meeting as two smoke bombs go up in amongst the crowds. GV. Crowds dispersing and smoke going up from where the bomb went off. LV. Platform, showing bottom of the huge tri-coloured drape alight and a person trying to put it out. SV. Ditto. GV. Palais des Sports and very smoky atmosphere and crowds standing around. SV. Pan fire burning in the middle of where the seats were and back to debris. LV. Platform with people on and people standing on floor below while smoke fills the air. LV. Showing people hurling things in out direction. LV. Groups of men throwing thing back bits of wood etc. SV.
