The Poetry Of Motion (1927)

Item title reads: “ The poetry of motion. Striking display by over 1,000 gymnasts.“ Bromley, Kent M/S parade of gymnasts, marching along and saluting with straight arm raised. They wearing all white tops and black trousers. M/S women wearing dark gymslips. L/S of long lines of alternating black and white outfits forming a huge pattern on the field. In well rehearsed unison, they perform lunges and squats, typical of the 1920’s form of healthy exercise routines. Note: This looks quite funny as they are such a huge group and they look so small, but move so perfectly. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
