Adventures Of Felix The Cat - Frolics At The Circus (1930)

Animation. Felix the Cat stands outside a circus tent being stroked by a man smoking a pipe. Meanwhile, an elephant is having a snooze. A mouse suddenly appears peeking out over the top of a bucket. He spots the elephant, clambers up its trunk then does a little dance on its head. The mouse slides down the elephant’s back then bounces on its tail. The elephant wakes up and looks very surprised. The mouse slides down the elephant’s trunk then puts his fists up as if angling for a fight. The elephant looks very angry and breaks the rope that is tethering him to a post. He runs after the mouse. The elephant knocks over the man who is stroking Felix. Felix and the man look very surprised and the stool the man was sitting on runs off. The tent billows and strains against the ropes as the elephant and mouse fight inside. Suddenly the elephant bursts through the wall of the tent. The elephant runs off and the man with the pipe starts to cry. “It’s that doggone mouse again!“ he shouts. Felix c
