Aeroplane disaster off the Dungeness coast, Scotland. Full titles read: “AIR LINER DISASTER - 7 Passengers lost as the ’City of Ottawa’ plunges into the Channel near Dungeness.“ L/S taken at dusk (or early morning) looking out to sea at the wrecked Handley Page plane. People stand at the salvage operation form the shoreline.“ L/S and M/S’s of the wreckage of the mangled plane on the beach (now daylight). Note: The crash occurred on 17 June 1929.
