Polar Baby (1956)

Whipsnade Zoo, Bedfordshire. SV. Baby bear just walking over towards person who is holding small vessel with drink in it. SCU. Bear with hand in picture holding the vessel - he puts his head in for a drink and it is spilling over the side. He raises his paw to hold the vessel - raises the other paw and is now holding the vessel with his front feet. CU. Two small boys looking over wall. Bear’s name is Spitfire and he has arrived from Nuremberg Zoo. SV. The bear standing on a platform that is in his pen anticipating the jump on to the wall to get out. He leaps at the wall. CU. Baby bear, front view - he has just jumped onto the wall and starts to slip backward into the pen. SV. Baby brown bear running across lawn towards camera. SCU. Keeper and the baby polar bear - the bear is on his platform and the keeper has in his hand a spoon, making the bear stand on his back legs and feed from the spoon. ***SV.
