Flushing, Holland (Netherlands). SV. Crown Princess of Holland, Beatrix (on her first official visit to Royal Dutch Navy) and Prince Bernhard go aboard training ship “Jacob Van Heemstark“ in Flushing inner harbour. GV. Quayside. SV. Deck of “Jacob with Heemstark“. Princess Beatrix shakes hands with an officer then looks with interest at something out of picture. Pan to it - it is a home-made Smyrna rug held by two ratings, & CU. Rug is in open box and has pattern of crossed anchors. CU. Princess Beatrice, pan with Princess as she turns and starts to move. GV. From quay, sailors lining rail of “Jacob Van Heemstark“ cheering and waving their caps. CU. Princess Beatrix and Prince Bernhard on quayside, Prince Bernhard saluting, Princess Beatrix bows. They turn away. CU. Two girls (or maybe guys - not sure) in Dutch national costume. Angle shot, bow of destroyer (submarine chaser) “Limburg“ on slipway, with gangway leading to launching ceremony platform. Princess Beatrix and VIP’s walking along gangway. SV. B
