Full title reads: “The Legend of the Lough“. Scenic studies of Vale of Glendalough, Wicklow, Eire (Southern Ireland, Republic of Ireland). Various shots of hills and valleys, some with quaint little villages in. Various shots of rivers and lakes surrounded by mountains. A small boat is leaving for “St. Kevin’s Bed - the hermit’s cave“. Various shots of cow drinking from river - River Glenelough (sp.?). More shots of picturesque landscape. Various shots of ruins surrounding the lakes, the seven churches founded by St. Kevin, including distinctive round tower, St. Kevin’s Church (supposedly saint’s kitchen) and ruined monastery (St. Saviour’s Church). C/U of granite Celtic cross. More shots of landscape. Note: name of river taken from audio, could not find written record of it.
