The Three Admirals (1936)

Full title reads: “Now Pathetone has pleasure in presenting another popular Variety Combination. The Three Admirals“. Pathe Studios, London. Singing comedy trio. Three men in tuxedos, one at a piano, perform exaggerated opera piece about Italy on stage. One man wears a silly false moustache and has a ridiculous Italian accent - he pretends to be auditioning to others. There’s a lot of American style wise cracking, performance generally quite camp.
