THIS DIGIBETA VERSION HAS BEEN MADE FROM THE PRINT - VERSION ON TAPE *PM0842* WILL PROBABLY BE BETTER QUALITY AS TAKEN FROM THE NEGATIVE. A woman is seated at a dressing table reading a letter. A maid enters through the door and a title reads: “A gentleman from Emile’s Madame —“. The man comes in and bows, then after a quick glance at the woman’s hair proceeds to sketch a style he thinks would “suit Madame’s individuality“ as this is the latest idea in hairdressing. C/U of his sketch. He hands it to Madame and it meets with approval. He combs her hair. He creates a modern adaptation of the Grecian style of hairstyle. C/U of the woman’s hair being plaited then pinned to the head. The style is accessorised with a thin jet band with a shaded flame-coloured ostrich feather. C/U of this being attached to the head.
