Stage actress, Pamela Stanley, gives an interview to off-camera narrator. She sits at a mirror, doing her hair and make-up, in a set that looks like a dressing room. The narrator asks her about her latest role, playing Queen Victoria in play ’Victoria Regina’. He then asks her how she prepares for play, whether she would liked to have lived in Victorian days and about Victorian hair styles. Various shots of Pamela dressing for role of the young Queen. The narrator asks if she finds wearing Victorian dresses “cumbersome“. There is a knock of stage and Pamela dashes off, pretending it’s her curtain call.
