New Delhi, India. LV. Three effigies, representing Demon King Ravana and two of his relatives who are to be burned later on, surrounded by crowd milling around. This is Ramlila festival (annual festival of Dussehra). GV. Mr Pandit Nehru, Indian Prime Minister, arriving on a jeep passing the camera looking around rather nervously. SV. The face of one of the effigies. GV. Indian deity (possibly Rama) and his wife sitting on a wooden bull moving forward, most probably on a float. TV. A crowded street, chariot with two wooden horses out front being pulled through the street. GV. Massed crowds. SV. Indian deity (another) with wife sitting on a bird passing the camera. SV. A chariot. SV. A man holding a drum on a stick dancing in the street. TV. A float on which a man is standing holding a large spear. GV. Float on which the men have bows and arrows. SV.
