Evolution - The Other Side Of It (1930)

Introductory intertitle reads: “Following its policy of impartiality the ’Pictorial’ reports on what the monkeys say about it all - The Editor.“ M/S of a chimpanzee wearing a jacket going up to a blackboard upon which there is a drawing of a man with the word “Our Teacher - Snooky“ written underneath. The chimp uses a board rubber to start to rub off the drawing. Another shot of the monkey by the blackboard. This time it reads: “Now Darwin says“, the chimp makes some chalk marks on the board. Intertitle reads: “Prof. Chim Panzee.“ The chimp sits on a bench in the open air - he is fully clothed. “Show me the man who can hang from a tree by a tail.“ C/U of the chimp. He wears little round glasses and holds a book in his hand. “Sally Simian“ is then introduced.
