In Royal gold and silver, 62 (the King’s age) old people receive Royal Maundy gifts from King’s High Almoner.“ Westminster, London King’s High Almoner plus bishop and officials, all carrying bouquets, emerge through a church doorway. The ladies bid farewell to the churchmen. The High Almoner wears a richly embroidered cape. He greets smiling old people, - women in bonnets and fur collars. One old woman looks very Victorian. There is an old man in cap and velvet collared overcoat, with watch chain, who laughs and holds his hand out to receive Maundy money. The old man with the open hand shows his money.
