“Will it ever come to this?“ M/S of a group of actors being made up for a stage performance. They are all boys in drag. The drag queens stand with their feet up on a low table, they fasten their shoes in a provocative fashion. One smokes a cigar, another takes it out of his mouth and has a puff. They then all have a smoke. “These are American College fellows who can throw a rapid step as good as any dancing troup.“ High angle shot of their show. They dance. Low angle shot of the performers on stage. The “girls“ do a high kick routine, holding out their skirts. They then do a high kick routine wearing frilly frocks and feathered headdresses. Low angle shot of them dancing. “Perhaps in 1950 Adam may be doing this ... regularly!“ L/S of the boys dancing on stage. Low angle shot of their legs and ankles as they dance.
