M/S of Wilkie entering the Ministry of Information, he passes line of Home Guardsmen. Various shots of a press conference. Journalists question Wilkie, natural sound. In answering the questions he expresses an interest in visiting industrial areas such as Manchester that have been badly bombed, he says he admires the British spirit and hopes Britain will always maintain democracy. Various shots of Wilkie posing for press on steps of no 10 Downing Street with Prime Minister Winston Churchill. They bid farewell to each other and Wilkie gets into waiting car. Note: Wilkie is a
