The Air Dare Devils (1928)

United States of America? Air to air shot of aircraft over city. Two men on wings of aircraft doing stunts, hanging from wings etc. One man on top of aircraft, the other hanging from undercarriage. One man stands on wing and the other does a handstand. Men crawl towards centre of aircraft and shake hands. Aircraft over sea, men stunting on wings. C/U (camera mounted on aircraft) as man hangs from wing, then does a handstand. We can clearly see the cameram an turning the camera as the stunt man performs his tricks. C/U men leaning into wind walking towards camera - no strings attached! He blows a kiss at the camera. C/U stunt men and pilot leaning against the aircraft (now on the ground) talking. Was item in Eve’s Film Review or Pathe Pictorial issue 362. Note: this is quite good for showing cameraman taking a risk to get his shot. FILM ID:752.2 A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
