Full titles read: “SWEETS FOR THE SWEET.“ Aerial shots of Chocolate factory at Somerdale in Avon (now North Somerset). The narrator informs us that stored inside are a hundred and fifty thousand bags of cocoa beans. L/S of a worker driving a small vehicle inside the warehouse, hundreds of sacks of cocoa beans can be seen stacked on top of each other. L/S’s of the cocoa beans being transferred from a hopper to a roasting machine. C/U of gauges on roasting machine. Several shots of the chocolate making process in progress, this includes, winnowing - which throws off the shells of the beans, the chocolate mixture being refined on huge granite rollers. Very good L/S’s of the cream centres being placed in the centre of the chocolates by woman factory workers. Various more good shots of factory machinery moving the chocolate along a conveyor belt past women workers who pack the chocolates into boxes.
