Berkshire. Various shots of farmer walking across field, he aims and fires shotgun at birds. Little boy (Dave) and small dog (Dusty) watch from edge of field. Dave spots some pheasant feathers sticking up from behind a hedgerow. Dave tells Dusty to stay and then creeps up on pheasant. Dave grabs the feathers and discovers they are attached to a woman’s hat. The woman was sitting behind the hedgerow reading. The angry woman chases Dave and Dusty across the fields.
