REFLECTIONS FROM APOLLO ON THE HISTORY, ARTS & THEOLOGY OF HUMANITY

Filmed on Sunday 19 September 2021, this talk brings the listener up to date with the peace work of IIPSGP, and mentions several recent events, including taking part in a Rotary Peace Conference. It also includes also a showing of various photographs taken at Troy, Ephesus, Istanbul Archaeological Museum, Miletus and other sacred sites. It explores the continuity between ancient druidry and modern theology, It also includes a poem dedicated to Taranis Celtic God of Gaul and also quotes from Surah 83 of the Quran, called The Defauders. The lecturer gives a brief interpretation of some of its verses, taken from his Commentary on the Quran, which has just been finished, after a 10 year period of work. This is the largest and most comprehensive commentary on the Quran ever undertaken in any European language, and draws on innumerable scholarly traditions: historical philosophical, philological, Qabalistic, Sufi, Druidical, Buddhist, Christian, Shiiah, Sunni etc. It is intended as a contribution to peace dialogue
