Paradiddledrummer’s interpreation of the Seven Stroke Rolls was inspired by Norwegian folk drumming. Two accents of the Single Paradiddle is according to Ashworth’s System of Drum Beating from 1812. Stroke technique was inspired by the drum methods of Sanford Moeller, Gene Krupa, and Jim Chapin. RRL backsticking triplets were substituted for the original Single Sevens.
