Dam collapses, China in danger, Inner Mongolia flooded! Floods China

China’s National Flood and Drought Control Headquarters on Thursday activated a Level IV emergency response for flooding in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The country has a four-tier emergency response system to combat flooding, with Level I being the most urgent. According to the Ministry of Emergency Management (MEM), heavy rains are expected to hit Gansu, #Ningxia , Shaanxi, #innermongolia , #shanxi , #Beijing , Tianjin, #hebei and northeastern regions over the next four days. Meanwhile, the headquarters maintained a Level IV emergency response for flooding in #Liaoning , Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia. The National Disaster Reduction Commission maintained a Level II emergency response in flood-hit Hunan Province. The Ministry of Emergency Situations said its emergency rescue centre had sent 405 people and 261 pieces of equipment to assist with flood control and rescue operations in Sichuan, Hunan and Liaoning provinces.
