UN: US ambassador dismisses emergency meeting on US-led airstrikes as ’cynical stunt’

US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power questioned the necessity of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in New York City, Saturday, shortly after an US-led coalition airstrike brought the Syrian ceasefire under strain by killing more than sixty Syrian Army soldiers.
