Uk Artist/Producer Ayo Beatz, has uploaded the visuals for his tune ’Kangol’, in which he pays homage to the brand and its enduring appeal. The record also gives a nostalgic ’head nod’ to some of the hip hop icons who inspired Ayo Beatz through his musical journey when he was first exposed to the genre. “I used to watch old videos by artists like Run-DMC, LL Cool J, Slick Rick and The Notorious who all rocked Kangol hats which I thought was cool, they also rapped about the hats in their lyrics.” h
