Israel’s Strategic Affairs Minister, Ron Dermer, has reportedly visited Russia to discuss a potential ceasefire with Lebanon, seeking Moscow’s assistance in negotiations due to its ties with Syria, Iran, and Hezbollah. Former Lebanese parliamentarian and advisor to the President on Lebanese-Russian Affairs, Amal Abou Zeid, expressed that Beirut is open to any mediation efforts from Moscow.
