ISLA CONTOY - CANCUN MEXICO. Less than 2 hours by boat from Cancun Mexico is Isla Contoy, where a maximum of 200 lucky people per day can explore this virtually untouched island. We stopped along the way to Isla Contoy to snorkel in the clear blue water but strong currents and unfavorable conditions made visibility poor so after a short swim we were on the way to Isla Contoy.
