The beat in the verses of this song is cool, but the bridge is why I chose to cover this song. I’ve been listening to this album for about 13 years now and every time that part came on my brain always freaked out and I couldn’t tell what was going on. Sitting down and actually writing it out fixed that problem in all of 10 minutes haha. The hi-hat downbeat/ride offbeat ostinato is really cool and I love where the snares fall. Travis always creates really interesting grooves and this is one of my favorites.
