NavigateVR - Virtual Hang Glider

This is a project completed by us students in winter semester 2012/2013. Satisfied supervisor: Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Christian Geiger. Fachhochschule Düsseldorf, FB Medien University of Applied Sciences, Department of Media The main idea was to navigate trough a winter scene. The result is an extraordinary immersive virtual Hang Glider To increase the immersion and stimulate as much senses we could we use three wind machines, the Oculus Rift (HMD), vibrations and a headset for sounds.
