Classic TV Theme: MacGyver (Stereo)

For seven years Richard Dean Anderson played Angus MacGyver, the secret agent who didn’t carry a gun or a pocketful of high-tech gadgets. Mac was a brilliant improviser; he used things he found along the way to make or repair what he needed. The 1985 show ran for seven seasons, though it was never finished a season in the top 30. It was a hit in syndication, so much so that several revival movies were produced and recently a reboot. The theme music is by Randy Edelman. 0:00 Opening titles, season one. 1:11 Opening titles, season seven. After a year or so the synth-sound of the first season was modified to include real musical instruments broadcast in stereo. This arrangement lasted through the final season. 2:21 End credits, season seven.
