A true treasure from @UriahHeep72’s ’50 anniversary tour’! As we already know, they had the glorious idea of being their own “support act“. In this capacity they offered us a wonderful acoustic program with selected titles of their work. Many fans almost held their breath when Bernie and Phil - only with voice and piano - started a medley of ’Confession’ and ’Rain’. ’Rain’ in particular is known as one of the most soulful songs in their entire history and has rarely had its place on a live show. Both songs - ’Confession’ from 1976’s ’High and Mighty’ album, and ’Rain’ from 1972’s ’The Magican’s Birthday’ album - one of Uriah Heep’s greatest albums ever - evoke the band’s unforgettable early years.
