Figure Skating in the 1990s and 2000s was long hailed as the sport where bad sportsmanship prevailed thanks other than the Tonya Harding vs Nancy Kerrigan Incident in 1994. The drama between these duos would continue to shape what outsiders think of Figure Skating as a sport - The showbiz, whack someone’s knee from the back etc, especially after the Movie “I, Tonya“ blew up in the big screen in 2018 (Not saying I, Tonya isn’t good or Kerrigan/Harding who’s good or bad.
