How to make a bag from coffee bags - Upcycling plastic coffee bags

Squares woven out of coffee bags can be used to make all kinds of baskets and bags. All you need to connect them is string (such as a gift wrapping string) and a needle or stick to thread the string through the hinges formed at the edges of the squares. Stunning bags and baskets woven out of coffee bags are unique, practical and durable. And of course a great way to recycle used coffee bags! For the weaving you need: - empty coffee bags - paper - a pen - scissors - clothespins or other clips - durable wooden sticks or knitting needles To join woven pieces, you need: - string (e.g. gift wrapping string) - a needle (I use 25 cm long Prym mattress needle: ) - scissors - cord to finish the edge - ribbon for the handles The sizes of the templates are 15,2 cm x 6,8 cm and 15,2 cm x 5,1 cm. Width of the folded strip: ~2,3 cm and 1,7 cm You need 132 (6,8cm) and 48 (5,1cm) strips for this project.
