Zhao Ge (朝歌) Trailer, with Eng Subs

Update: This show is unlikely to see light of day. Won’t go into details here, just wanted to warn those waiting that it might be in vain. Another upcoming historical production by Yu Zheng (于正) that features Yanxi (延禧) actors, namely Wu Jin Yan (吴谨言) and Xu Kai (许凯). The trailer came out some time ago, but I added English subtitles and re-posted it here, for fellow Yanxi fans :) Zhao Ge (朝歌) is about the downfall of the ancient Shang dynasty, with many mythical elements and legends mixed in. The show is set for 50 episodes and slated to be released in 2019. Wu Jin Yan plays Su Da Ji (苏妲己), a notoriously evil woman in Chinese history. Xu Kai is Yang Jian (杨戬), also known as Er Lang Shen (二郎神), the deity with a third eye of truth.
