Anime Background in Procreate

A small (or maybe not so small as it took probably 20h to complete) experiment in painting using iPad Pro and the Procreate app. I tried to paint an anime-like background inspired by the “Ponyo” hand-painted poster colors style. This picture is based on some photos we took with Kana during our trip to Kanazawa. I really liked the long stairs and the empty beer bottle crates in the foreground and wanted to paint it someday.
