Kurt Cobain’s MTV Unplugged guitar auctioned for $5M at Julien’s Auctions. Peter Freedman, founder of RØDE Microphones, sat right in front of me at the auction today. He got Kurt’s guitar... for $5,000,000 ($ after buyer’s premium, etc). That smashed the previous world record of $ for a guitar.
