Having covered 68,000 miles, this Aston’s engine remains pristine, as Iain demonstrates. He also delves into the Weber Marelli fuel injection system, which was also used in the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth and Ferrari F40, and talks about the Chrysler Torqueflite automatic transmission. Despite not being a Vantage or a DBS, this “common or garden“ V8 remains special, as Iain illustrates with the luxuriously appointed interior swathed in the finest Connolly Leather.
