RYBAR Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on December 2, 2022

▪️Ukrainian units shelled the border village of Stary Khutor in Belgorod Region. Projectiles fragments damaged five residential buildings and social infrastructure, and disrupted the power supply. ▪️In the Kupyansk area, the AFU makes unsuccessful attempts to attack Russian positions near Kuzemivka. Artillery strikes are launched against the advancing groups. Russian Air Force tactical aviation is operating. ▪️In the Lysychans’k direction, Russian forces continue their offensive battles near Spirne. The AFU is redeploying reinforcements and trying to hold positions in the vicinity of the settlement. ▪️After the defeat near Kurdyumivka, the Ukrainian command is trying to regroup forces and regain the initiative. Near Horlivka, the AFU assault units made another unsuccessful attempt to counterattack in the direction of the Mayors’ka station. ▪️Residential areas of Donetsk were once more subjected to massive artillery and rocket fire. At least three people were killed as a result of the strikes on the city center and multi-storey buildings. ▪️A Ukrainian SU-25 was shot down by Russian Naval Infantry near Pavlivka. It is reported that the attack aircraft was destroyed by the Osa SAM. The defeat of the aircraft is confirmed with objective monitoring data. ▪️The Russian Armed Forces struck a transformer plant in Zaporozhzhia. The missiles hit the workshop where final assembly of products was carried out.
