Joe Satriani amPlug from Vox - Soundcheck - 1

A soundcheck of the new amPlug from Vox - the Joe Satriani Signature amPlug. I’ve recorded this direct to my soundcard. Guitar used: Godin SD 22 Electric; Just for those who are wondering if this little toy is worth paying for: The things which struck me about this little piece of equipment: 1. Cleans up beautifully. Guitar volume knob down and you’ll get a very clean sound. 2. Huge gain range - ’Midnight’ Cleans to ’Souls of Distortion’ Drives. Leave your gain at one, and lower your guitar volume and you’ll get perfect clean sound, with a great body and texture. 3. Sweet tone through the gain range. Whether you have the gain down to one or all the way up, you can be sure you ain’t gonna have a noisy/muddy distortion. 4. Nuance Responsive. Very sensitive to touch and dynamics. You’ll never miss the sweet sounds of fingers or pick touching the strings, woundings, pickup and wood. Hence, we also have Crystal Clear Harmonics. 5. Creamy Lead
