“Mikey“ the BEAM robot

It’s a BEAM “table-top“ robot named Mikey (from the word microphone and key - to turn it ON). - light seeker (phototropic / phototaxis behavior) - sound, wind, noise & vibration activated (the louder the sound it detects, the longer it is active) - backs-up if it’s too close to an object (obstacle detection / avoidance) - using 2 UV led lights as its eyes (invisible stains can be seen on the surface when illuminated) - built-in low voltage indicator (red led lights up, indicating low battery voltage)
