French Carnival (1923)

Festival (Les Soufflaculs) in Sainte-Claude - a small town in the department Jura in eastern France. VS crowd in the street, many wear white robes & close-fitting hats with fake noses & masks. Some revellers on carnival float, others in street, crowd of villagers in ordinary clothing surround them. CU man with silly false nose & exaggerated Napoleon type hat.
