Titles read: ’Hastings. Another U-boat driven ashore by gale - this Seaside Resort seems to have a fatal attraction for submarines!’ East Sussex. Shot of the grounded German sub very near the beach; partly submerged in water; rocking in the waves of the storm. A few children; and women (small ones or else girls) arrive on the windy beach to gawk at the enemy sub. CU submarine rocking side to side - no sign of life. Note: Took place in April 1919.
