Atlantic Flyers At Cenotaph (1928)

Atlantic Flyers At Cenotaph, London. Amelia Earhart and three male companions carry two wreaths past crowds and place it at the Cenotaph war memorial in Whitehall. Crowds and policemen watch. As they walk back to their car a photographer approaches Earhart and seems to be asking to take her picture. One of the men speaks to him. Note: this is probably soon after Earhart crossed the Atlantic by plane as passenger with two male pilots in June 1928. Two of the men seen here could be her pilot friends.
