Pageant Of Youth (1920-1929)

Pageant of youth. Location of events unknown. Parades & processions. Children in costumes ride on floats w/ variety of themes in parade. Boy portrays RAF hero on float w/ model aeroplane. Group of kids in white wigs and costumes; like 18th century French. Some joke floats; such as 2 boys in a bathtub; wearing policemen’s helmets; w/ words on side of float: A Hot Bath for Two Coppers; & drawings of 2 half pennies. Another bath shot: kid in bathtub washing hair while mother sits beside tub. Children dressed as savages; w/ black face do a sort of war dance in street. CU cute toddler boy in pilot costume. Group pose. CU little girl holding big bouquet. More girls in automobile- -Queen of the pageant and her court ? More floats advertising various local businesses. At a large park or stadium; masses of little girls and boys in school uniforms parade past large crowd of spectators.
