Reel 2. Horses being exercised at the Crabbit (?) Arabian Stud of Lady Wentworth (?) Beautifully elegant racehorses are led past the camera. The voiceover speaks of the history of the Arabian breed. Various shots of the horses including C/Us of their heads. Narrator speaks of Britain as being the finest horse breeding country in the world. Newmarket Racing Stables of Mr Jack Jarvis. Various shots of horses at the stables including a horse being broken in or trained on the end of long reins. Early morning exercise for the thoroughbreds wearing stripy blankets. They walk in a line across the fields and down country lanes. They then gallop past the camera. Mr Jarvis rides with the others - he has the distinction of winning the previous year’s Derby on “Blue Peter.“ Lord Roseberry’s Mentmore (?) stud. Horses are led through an archway towards the camera. Horses are led into and out of stables. Various shots of “Blue Peter“ being led past camera and being shown. Flashback to the previous year.
