Zeppelin Shot Down (1914-1918)

Faked film of airship being shot down by French gunners. (Shots of wrecked airship are real but the prior events have been very obviously ’recreated’.) MS French soldier looking up through binoculars. Black airship inside light circle (supposedly seen through the binoculars). Alternating shots of French Army soldiers manning antiaircraft gun and evil Zeppelin in sky dropping bombs on village; etc. Especially hilarious is the fact that the shots of soldiers are in daylight; while the airship is shown against dark background. Soldiers keep feeding more shells into the gun and firing into the sky. Then in quick succession; shot of airship flying; bursting into flames; & dropping to earth (very dark shot). However the last shots are all too real. CU wreckage of crashed Zeppelin. MS burnt corpse. (After all the silly fake stuff it is all the more a shock to see something this horrible). Finally 3 men posing in front of gun. Warning: this item contains images which some people may find distressing. FI
