King at Aldershot. Hampshire. Coach pulls up outside an incredibly gaudy painted Victorian horror of a house. Coachmen etc. rush around. Pan as King George V walks round corner of house to where a line of mostly elderly men stand. Shot of the King walking along row of veterans (wearing civilian clothes w/ their medals on their jackets). King stops a few times to look at a decoration or chat w/ man. - including old man w/big white beard in FG. Brief shots King & Queen Mary greeting people dressed up in robes & traditional hats. Then other people watching from some sort of bleacher seats. Finally shot of some people walking outdoors; past a display of fake antique looking yard decorations - planters; fountains etc. behind a chain - part of some exhibition which is going on here.
