So I suppose it is something to do with the Easter Rebellion; though there are no actual scenes of fighting. Opening shots not Dublin. People cheering someone coming off a boat. (Apparently the idea here is to portray the Irish people as loyal to Britain and happy to be rescued from rebellion ?).
