Tico Tico - solo ukulele - Arranged by Colin Tribe

“Tico-Tico no Fubá“ translated as “sparrow in the cornmeal“, is a Brazilian choro song written by Zequinha de Abreu in 1917. Sometime afterward Aloysio de Oliveira wrote the Portuguese lyrics which is more about a clock ticking. Outside Brazil, the song reached its peak popularity in the 1940s, with successful recordings by Ethel Smith, The Andrews Sisters (with English-language lyrics by Ervin Drake), Carmen Miranda and others. Here is the Sibelius file of my ukulele solo version - high “C“ not playing as Sibelius doesn’t realize it exists... Music&tab from colinrtribe@ 5 part ensemble version coming soon
