“On the Trail“ from Grand Canyon Suite - accordion virtuoso Charles Magnante

Some of my Charles Magnante CDs that have pretty poor audio fidelity, but this amazing performance has excellent audio. This piece is part of Ferde Grofe’s famous jazz composition “The Grand Canyon Suite.“ I’ve always love the relaxed & comical sound of this piece which is very descriptive of a mule train casually strolling along the cliff-side trails of Arizona’s scenic Grand Canyon. This is one of my favorite arrangements by Charles Magnante & he does not disappoint the listener with one of his best performances here.
